Jeff Chalfant is a coach and master trainer in CrossFit.  The main goal of his program is to help you achieve and improve all-around balanced fitness — from running to climbing to lifting heavy stuff to just feeling more comfortable in your own body. Coach Jeff specializes in not specializing; producing a broad, non-specific, adaptable and highly usable fitness program for any fitness level. From beginners to experienced athletes, he is an expert in scaling your training to the appropriate intensity level so you can learn and master proper movement.

Training Methods

We believe that your training environment plays a huge role in motivation, that’s why we are a goal oriented community, facilitating competition and camaraderie, and above all else, PLAY.
 

  • Our only machines are our members.
  • We measure fitness by ability, not appearance. Though body composition, being a corollary of fitness, improves much faster when you train like an athlete.
  • Your fitness program should not be limited by your ability, it should improve it.
  • We don’t do bodybuilding. Isolation exercises don’t use the body the way it really works in most functional applications.
  • Fitness is measured by work capacity across broad temporal and modal domains and we constantly measure the work capacity of our members.
  • We will never have you do a “workout” during which you can read a magazine or watch your favorite television show. You will be pushed, to your limits. The entertainment IS the workout
  •  We believe that a gym should provide world class coaching, and that it should be included in the membership cost.
  • Some of what we use are: gymnastics elements (like rings), Olympic weightlifting, whole body movements, climbing ropes, medicine balls, free weights, sandbags, weight vests, kettle bells, pull-up bars, sprinting, slack-lines, and more…

Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
